    sorry.

    =)

  3. Nerds Rule! says:

She’s suing Best Buy. Read the article on the front page first…

  4. Ember says:

54 million! Yeahh! I say go for it.

  5. YeahThatGirl! says:

That laptop cost me alot of money damnit

  6. TYNNA™ says:

    wasnt that best buy though??

  7. bobdcow says:

Interesting story, but why 54 million, if she left it a 1or something as small as that they maybe I would have sympathy for her but 54 to me is just greedy.

  8. felisha says:

    ive never heard that

  9. The Spotlight Lives In All Of Us says:

    Wow… no i didn’t hear abut this.
    I say shes insane.

  10. tuesday says:

I hope she wins – hope she was smart enough to have a backup of her files.

  11. mad mike says:

It’s Best Buy that she’s suing.

  12. october_girl26 says:

I’ve read somewhere that it was best buy. I’m not surprised that she’s trying to teach them a lesson. Considering the way they’ve treated her she was more patient than many people would be in a situation like this.

  13. ♥ AUDI MASERATI ♥ says:

    i agree with user: {tuesday}

    this is probably true
    OR
    a well planned scam…

the store may not know, but the lady might have a backup disk at home..

hmm.. lawyers should look more closely into this situation..
    ..

  14. Ben "Jammin" says:

To me.. I think she is absolutely NUTS to be suing for 54 mil. She needs to think of a more reasonable dollar ammount, a dollar ammount that won’t end up shutting down best buy if she wins!!!!

  15. WooleyBooley again says:

Sounds as if she’s related to the mor_on judge that sued the dry cleaners for a lost pair of $400 slacks. He sued for $50 million, lost, lost the appeal, then did not get re-elected because of it. These people are real rocket scientists, just think, they vote and breed.

  16. PAUL C says:

good god i thought my laptop was expensive but that is ridiculous

  17. brittanyyy says:

I don’t think I exactly agree on that- it’s just a tad extreme. ha
But hey, if she can get $54 million, then more power to her.
I sure wouldn’t mind having $54 million. I start college in April so, that would sure make paying for that a whole hell of a lot easier.

I do agree that a lot of stores do treat their customers poorly, but I mean, they did offer her $1000 right off the bat. They should have offered the laptop’s full worth though.
That’s still more than most store’s would offer.

  18. latj says:

It wasn’t Wal Mart it was Best Buy. I don’t blame her I agree with her. She is just trying to make a point that they cannot just “lose” someones things and not give a care.
She’s not insane. She’s proving an important point. She’s setting an important precedence. She’ll get a big settlement. Not $54 million, but she’ll get a nice chunk of change.
